LM Allhands 4/21/2022

The Li-Ming Chinese Academy (LMCA) will hold an admission information session on this coming Sunday 4/24 10:30am-12:00pm at RMHS cafeteria.  For the parents of new students, please submit the admission request. Please also share the LMCA short films edited by Yi-Hsin Yan (LMCA Short Film) with your friends and families. Please contact Ms. Janey Hsiao at 301-670-0956 (9 a.m. and 8 p.m.) for more information or questions. This year we will  only watch the video at RMHS cafeteria and will not visit the classrooms.

Chinese schools’ Field Day will be held on 5/1 at Churchill High School. The classes will be dismissed at 11:35 am.  Li-Ming families should plan to arrive by 12pm to park and make their way to the stands. We will gather before walking around the field as a school. Please wear Li-Ming uniform T-Shirt on field day opening parade. Food will be available for sale.

2022 DMV Chinese Karaoke Film Contest
The registration deadline is April 24, 2022. The link of the uploaded film is required to be received by11:59 pm, April 24, 2022. The registration form and fees are required to be mailed by Aril 25, 2022. The award ceremony with a live performance or playing a contest video will be held on May 7, 2022 morning, at the Culture Center of Taipei Economic & Culture Representative Office. (Address: 901 Wind River Lane, Gaithersburg, MD 20878)

2022 WMACS Summer Camps
The WMACS is offering a week-long overnight summer camp from 7/23-7/30 at Notre Dame of Maryland University (located in Baltimore, MD). Classes include a combination of folk sports, chorus, folk dance, modern dance, Chinese brush painting, arts and crafts, etc.   Enroll by 4/30 to get a discounted rate.  Click here for more details.
