An Appreciation Luncheon for the participants of Chinese New Year performances at Libraries and Lake Forest Mall will be held this Sunday (2/23 @ 12:20 pm) for teachers, group leaders, volunteers and students. Student Service Learning (SSL) hour forms will also be distributed at that time.
The Li-Ming Chinese Academy (LMCA) will hold an admission information session on 3/22 at 10:30 am. The parents of new students are required to attend this information meeting before they submit the admission request (postmarked no later than 5/31). Please check LMCA website and contact Ms. Janey Hsiao at 301-670-0956 (9 a.m. and 8 p.m.) for more information or questions.
Chinese Vocabulary Competition will be held on 5/9 at TECRO. The schoolwide competition is 3/8 (Room 203) and 3rd to 12th grade students are encouraged to participate. For questions, please email Yiwen Chen at yiwen.chen@verizen.net.

National Preparation Test for SAT II Subject Mock Test in Chinese will be held on 3/8. Please contact Mr. Jesse Taur if you need to have a make-up test.
The WMACS is offering a week-long overnight summer camp from 7/25-8/1 for children ages 8-18 at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland. Classes include a combination of folk sports, chorus, folk dance, modern dance, Chinese brush painting, arts and crafts, etc. Enroll by 4/30 to get a discounted rate. Click here for more details.
