Welcome party and orientation for new families will be held on 9/17 at 10:30 am in Room 143.

Thanks to the help from all the volunteers and parents, the opening ceremony last Sunday was a great success. Please view the photo album and YouTube videos from the opening ceremony.

There will be parent teacher conferences for Bilingual Zhu-Yin, Zhu-Yin, Bilingual 1st Grade, 5th Grade, 11th Grade and 12th Grade this Sunday (9/17). Please refer to Classroom Activities section in this week’s allhands for detailed time and location.

Please encourage your 8th to 12th grade child to participate in the SGA.  Detailed information as well as a registration form can be found in your child’s school folder or click here to download.  Please submit the completed application form to Principal’s desk (the table next to the cafeteria entrance) on or before 9/24. Please contact SGA Advisor, Chien-An Wu, at cashhuang951@hotmail.com or 240-912-5400 for questions and suggestions. Public presentation meeting and election will be held on 10/1.

Washington Metropolitan Association of Chinese Schools (WMACS) will hold a Chinese Composition Contest for the theme of “National Day Celebration and I Love Taiwan”.  Please click here for detailed registration information.

This year, the Confucious Memorial Ceremony will be held on 9/30 (Sat.).  5th to 11th grade students are welcome to participate in the Yi-Woo dance (known as Ding Sacrifice).  Please refer to the following dates and times for Yi-Woo dance practice.  Contact wmcmcc@gmail.com for more details.
