The school was closed due to unexpected power outage last Sunday, therefore New Family Welcome Party and all Parent Teacher Conferences will be held one week after its original date.

Please make sure that you’re able to receive Line, email and/or phone message from school and room parents regarding emergency closures. If not, please notify your room parents or the supervisor in your volunteer department.

WELCOME PARTY & ORIENTATION FOR NEW FAMILIES will be held on 9/25 at 10:15 am at Cafeteria. All parents are welcome to attend. This session will also cover tips for non-fluent adults supporting children learning Chinese.

Parent Teacher Conference 9/25
There will be parent teacher conferences this Sunday (9/25). Please refer to Classroom Activities section for detailed time and location.

LMCA will provide lunch ordering service on 9/25
This school year, John Wu will manage the lunch ordering service starting on 9/25. If you’re interested in helping with lunch orders, please get in touch with John Wu <johnhighway@gmail.com>. On 9/25, there will only be limited lunch boxes available.

Please encourage your 8^th to 12^th grade child to participate in the SGA. Please contact SGA Vice Principal, Jack Wan shihkang.wan@gmail.com for questions and suggestions. Public presentation meeting and election will be held on 10/9.

Extracurricular Activities

The extracurricular activities in the fall of 2022 will start on September 25th as scheduled. Due to the impact of the suspension of classes last week as well as the conflict between the parent meeting and the class parent meeting in the next two weeks, the extracurricular activities group decided to set the trial class dates as 9/25 and 10/2. During these two days, parents and students are free to participate in various classes and have fun.

The final registration date for extracurricular activities has been postponed to 10/9/22. Parents and students are asked to register as soon as possible to ensure your desired course continues. If you have any questions, please contact the Extracurricular Activities Desk or Robert Cheng, Vice Principal of Extracurricular Activities (ryscheng@gmail.com).

Special Notice: The student badminton class was postponed to October 9 due to the teacher’s leave, but each class will be extended by 15 minutes.

All extracurricular classes will start with an open house on 9/25. The registration will be open on 9/11 at Extracurricular Activity Information Desk in the cafeteria. Please contact Robert Cheng (ryscheng@gmail.com) if you have any question.
