Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday (3/10), please set your clock forward 1 hour. Spring Academic recitals for Zhu-Yin and above grade classes will start from 3/24. Please check “Classroom Activities” section in this week’s allhands for dates/times and locations.
The Li-Ming Chinese Academy (LMCA) will hold an admission information session on 4/28 at 10:30 am. The parents of new students are required to attend this information meeting before they submit the admission request (postmarked no later than 5/26). Chinese Vocabulary Competition will be held on 5/11 at TECRO. The schoolwide competition is 3/10 (Room 223) and 3rd to 12th grade students are encouraged to participate. Schedules for schoolwide competition on 3/10 are: High School (9th~12th) at 12:40; Middle School (6th~8th) at 1:10 and Elementary School (3rd~5th) at 1:40. The WMACS is offering a week-long overnight summer camp from 7/20-7/27 for children ages 8-18 at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland. Classes include a combination of folk sports, chorus, folk dance, modern dance, Chinese brush painting, arts and crafts, etc. Enroll by 4/30 to get a discounted rate. Click here for more details.
