LMCA’s language instructional program adopts the “communicative approach”. The School teaches Mandarin in traditional Chinese characters, using the Chinese phonetics as an aid. The curriculum provides sequential learning goals as students progress from preschool, through elementary, middle and high school.
LMCA’s language program enables the students to learn functional language in realistic situations. In addition, cultural identity, Chinese input using the Pinyin method, Chinese essay writing, Chinese speech skills, and Chinese history and culture are also important learning objectives. Under the principles listed above, we strive to offer a complete Chinese education to the next generation overseas.
School Hour: 10AM-12:25PM on Sundays, with afternoon activities
